Viacom International Media Networks Italia, l’azienda guidata dall’A.D. Andrea Castellari, amplia il proprio portfolio di brand presenti sul fta con l’arrivo di VH1, il canale internazionale del network che sbarca ora anche in Italia! In Italia VH1 sarà un canale musicale, dedicato ai successi del presente e del passato, con la missione di rendere contemporanei i classici e far diventare classici i successi di oggi.

Nella playlist di VH1 convivono artisti di ieri e di oggi, con i brani e i video più cool, dagli artisti iconici come Michael Jackson, Nirvana, David Bowie, agli hitmakers di oggi come Adele, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, sempre con grande attenzione alla qualità.

Ad inaugurare ufficialmente la programmazione di VH1 , venerdì 1° luglio, alle 6 del mattino sarà il video “Born to run” di Bruce Springsteen, che darà il via non solo al canale ma anche al weekend dedicato a Springsteen con la rotazione musicale BEST OF BRUCE, in occasione dei suoi concerti italiani di Milano e Roma. VH1 è, infatti, un canale che sarà molto attento ai grandi eventi live che infiammeranno l’estate musicale nel nostro paese. Oltre a Springsteen, in Luglio si esibiranno in Italia anche due regine indiscusse del pop/rnb, Rihanna e Beyonce, VH1 le celebrera’ con BEST OF RIHANNA e BEST OF BEYONCE in occasione delle due date milanesi del 13 e del 18 Luglio.

Spazio anche alla grande musica italiana. I Negramaro hanno ricevuto il premio MTV Video Award all’edizione 2016 degli MTV Awards per l’attenzione che da sempre hanno avuto verso la qualità dei loro video e per tutto il mese di Luglio saranno in tour in Italia: VH1 dedica a loro la rotazione musicale BEST OF NEGRAMARO. VH1 è anche celebrazione di grandi artisti che hanno lasciato un’impronta nella storia della musica, e quindi, proporrà una fascia dedicata ai due artisti scomparsi recentemente, BEST OF DAVID BOWIE e BEST OF PRINCE, mentre il 22 Luglio a 5 anni dalla scomparsa precoce di Amy Winehouse, VH1 la ricorderà con BEST OF AMY WINEHOUSE. E ancora, rotazioni musicali dedicate a chi in questi mesi estivi festeggia il compleanno: Mick Jagger il 26 Luglio verrà festeggiato con BEST OF ROLLING STONES, Martin L Gore, cuore pulsante dei Depeche Mode, il 23 Luglio sarà celebrato con BEST OF DEPECHE MODE e il 16 Agosto, naturalmente, ci sarà un BEST OF MADONNA!

L’estate è sinonimo di allegria, gioia, festa da sempre accompagnata da tanta musica che, inevitabilmente, diventa la colonna sonora delle vacanze. Per tutto Luglio e Agosto VH1 regalerà un tuffo nel passato: prepariamoci a (ri)vivere tante emozioni con BEST OF SUMMER, i successi estivi a partire dal 1984 fino al 1999: per i piu’ giovani sarà un’ottima occasione per scoprire che la musica non ha età!
